Last class for English 102 is approaching

I can't believe the semester almost over. I almost there to complete my second year of college, next year I'll be a junior (: Time is going so fast. I'm still debating if I should go to Virginia State University and Old Dominion University. They both our good school, so it makes it hard to choose from. Hopefully by the Christmas break I would make my decision, the right one. I have a lot of things to do, especially for English. I believe i need to catch up for a lot of assignments. I need to finish my papers & work on this portfolio. I need to get busy! (:

Almost exam Week

Its almost exam week & I'm nervous as ever. The two classes I'm kind of nervous for is Statistic and Biology. These two classes has real challenging for me. I believe it really helped me realize what college is really about. Because last semester all my classes weren't as hard. But if I keep studying & reviewing I will be fine (:

November 20, 2013

Today I actually got out of my bed with no problem. That usually means I'm going to have a great day today (: Essay 4 (Se7ven)  seem a little complicated to write about, since I didn't know a lot about the story and movie at all. I did know that Detective Mills is a young,cocky man that had got transfer to work with Detective Somersault. Somersault was about to retire until he wanted  investigate these killings that continue to happen in NYC. They did find out the the killer was named John Doe. But lucky me, I checked out the movie in the library. Hopefully this would help me understand what the movie is actually about. Also I'll read the play I forgot he posted. Other than that today is a good day (:

Harvesting Help Halloween Costume Bash

Another event I went to for my beyond the classroom was The Halloween Costume Party. This party was held in the Barn Theater. For the party you had to pay a dollar or donate a food can for their donation for the poor. We had a Dj playing music & everybody was dressed in their costume. I was dressed like a cute black cat. It's real fun to dress like something or somebody for one night only. The music choice was good choice.  It was good vibe to be around that night. Until a fight broke through and shut down the whole party. When that happened I was really upset because I was having a great time.   Hopefully we'll have more parties like that to go to.

10th Annual Halloween Fright Film Festival

On October 31, I went to Film Festival held at Richard Bland for my beyond the classroom. This was my first time attending to event like this. I'm a big fan of scary movies, so it was interesting watching all the different movies I seen & not seen before. One movie I enjoyed looking at was Dawn of the Dead, a funny/scary movie. I can watch movie this movie over & over again. And continue to laugh like its my first time watching it.  Of course I enjoyed the refreshments they had for us. The students & teachers we're all good hosts and made me feel very welcomed when I arrived. Like I said before, I really enjoyed myself. Hopefully there would be more events like the Film Festival. (:

Hello.

Today was busy day for me. The best part about it was class was cancelled. I catch up with a few assignments which helped my day go very smooth. I'm kind of confident with the paper I turned in on The Glass Menagarie. I actually liked the story & I wish the story was much longer. It was easier for me to write the essay since we were allowed to use different sources. Well hopefully I'll get a A+ (:

What's been going on?

This week, I been reading and watching the story The Glass Menagerie. Its a interesting story. I just wish they just get to the point some time when I'm reading it. Each character in the story has their own perspective in life. Tom focus to be a writer and get out of his mother's house. Amanda, his mother focus on finding a husband for her daughter so she won't be alone like her. Laura is the outcast of the family, she doesn't believe she's like everybody else. Hopefully when I finished the story I'll be able to have a lot to write about & know what happens at the end. Especially for the writing assignment Sweeney gave us. This week went by really fast. I been busy all week studying for tests, midterm and so on. So I really don't have anything to blog about. So see ya!
